With the money Denmark Vesey bought his freedom and more, and spent the next twenty years living on Bull Street in Charleston: only blocks away from the governor and mayor. When everything he holds dear is threatened Denmark must ultimately answer the question, to what extremes will he go to protect his family, his life? Questions that members of the audience will answer for themselves include; what would you do? What would you do to save your family, your life?
